† 2831 BC (according to Jewish calendar)
Eve and Adam were according to the biblical account of creation in 1. Moses 2, a theological teacher narrative, the progenitors of mankind. Eve was therefore created as a partner for Adam from his rib. After both ate the fruits from the forbidden tree, they realized their nudity and were ashamed. They were driven out of paradise (Genesis 3), then the sons Cain, Abel and Set (Genesis 4), later other sons and daughters (Genesis 5) were born to them.
After the Apocalypse of Moses, Eve died six days after Adam.
As inhabitants of the Garden of Paradise and after the expulsion as builders of the soil, Eve and Adam became patrons of the gardeners, because their nudity was covered after the Fall, Eve became patroness of the tailors.
